Since early childhood, I have enjoyed beauty products. At the age of five I enjoyed experimenting with lip balm packets ranging from Sour Patch to Disney Princess-themed to Fanta flavors. I would like to say that my tastes have matured with age as I now seek out more clean, vegan, or sustainable beauty products that help my lips hydrate, protect my skin from sun damage, and add moisture to my dry hands. Summer Fridays offers Lip Butter Balm for Hydration & Shine in a variety of colorful 0.5 ounce tubes for $24 at Sephora. This vegan lip balm will hydrate any dry lip with necessary relief. My personal favorite is the vanilla beige tube.

Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40 can be found at Bluemercury (1208 Madison Avenue/East 88th Street) in a 15 ml container for $18. This sunscreen is ideal as one can neither feel nor see it after application!
